As you can probably see all wine bars mentioned above are located in The West Village, a neighborhood in Manhattan. The area is roughly bounded by the Hudson River and Sixth Ave, extending from West 14^th St to West Houston St.

The West Village, there since 1916, is known as “Little Bohemia” and in some ways the center of the bohemian lifestyle on the West Side. It’s a popular neighbourhood, with a multitude of small restaurant, bars and boutiques, home to many celebrities, and also my favourite place to shop and to explore cute restaurants and bars.
